I'm a Southern girl currently living in El Paso, Texas. The hubs, Tyler, is active duty Army and I am loving navigating the Army wife world.... for the record, it's nothing like the show :)
We had our first little girl, Maggie Claire, December 2008 and a second little blessing joined us June 2011- welcome Avery Grace! I'm a Baylor grad {sic 'em bears!} with a degree in public relations & marketing but right now I stay busy being a stay at home mom. I always knew I wanted to be a wife & mom and it's been everything I hoped for. My girls challenge me constantly and delight me daily- I love it!

I started this blog as a way to keep our family and friends filled in on our pregnancy with Maggie and then to share pictures of our little sprite. It's evolved into so much more than that for me though, I still post {plenty} of pictures and funnies of the girls but I also use it as a means to seek parenting advice, share things that I love and mostly just ramble.
I am a grammar queen although I tend to ignore any rules regarding punctuation. Nothing makes me happier than a good book or a game of Scrabble and a glass of wine. I love thrift stores and a good bargain. And I really love food. I love finding and trying out new recipes... and am so thankful my poor family doesn't mind taste testing them all.
Really this blog is just my family and me, the things I love, hate, want, need & must-have. It's totally unglamorous and perfectly us... basically blissful.
